People say love is like watching a rose growing in the garden. It's complex but subtle. Just like a rose, love can be hurt or pulled back, but it can pull through. It just needs to conquer the world...
My favorite quote at the moment are:
'You never know nothing more about the big things than you start out with. The more I wonder, he say, the more I love.' - The Color Purple.
'Life cannot defeat a writer who is in love with writing; for life itself is a writer's love until death.' - Edna Ferber, 1887-1968, American author
'What we leave behind in this life is the memory of who we were and what we did. An imprint, no more.' - Labyrinth.
'In Shakespeare, I had seen what it was to love and to laugh, to hate, betray, and even kill: all that is brightest and darkest in the human soul.' - The Shakespeare Secret.
My name's Michaela, Mici for short. I'm a young writer hoping to improve her writing and get as much feedback as possible to do this. For me, my writing projects how I feel about different things and say things that I can't. Please feel free to browse my page and my writing, and please feel free to comment.
My first novel, Heading for Disaster, is dedicated to a man who left my life and others quite suddenly and unexpectedly, who always encouraged me (his niece) to pursue my hopes and dreams, whether they be pursuable or not. Thanks for the advice and miss you loads xx
(And by the way, when I talk about my dad being my hero, he's my step-dad, but I love him to pieces)
