I am currently a student at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. I am studying EMT/Paramedic.
I started writing when I was about fifteen. I think I started with poems, then went on to short stories (some for English class), and then I decided to take on something even bigger--writing a novel. I originally began a novel about three years ago, but lost all of it. Then, about a year and a half ago, I began another novel, unable to resurrect the first. This second story turned out to be completely different than the first.
For me writing has always been a way of expressing my emotions, feelings and desires. In poetry it was easy for me to express my emotion...at least up until the point when poetry no longer came so easily as before. Short stories then became my world of imagination. If I couldn't cope with my life then I would live through someone else, even if for only a few pages.
To top it all off, my excitement in life is provided in writing a story. My greatest pleasure is to let my imagination soar, creating a new world, or experience reality in a different way. And I do all this with the two most magical items known to mankind--a pen and paper.
