Chapter 1: A New Destiny
She walked on the soft sand in the peaceful beach. The waves were humming a nostalgic melody of yearning kindness and tempting coolness.
She stared at the familiar wooden shack on the island she just escaped from.
She knew that from now on, things won't be the same and her life will turn upside down, but she didn’t care.
The sky became cloudy and the breeze stronger chilling everything in its way.
That sad girl on the beach is Destiny Meyers, a small fragile girl with light blue crystal eyes and glossy deep chocolate hair.
"Remember to always have faith in you, Destiny"
Her parents used to say.
That’s what we named you after, to have hope for the future" Destiny smiled bitterly recalling the memories of her youth, but they weren’t important she was a teenage runaway and her own survival was the only way.
'I have to escape, I'm to close to that place its dangerous to lurk around here, and this could bring my Down-Fall' she thought.
Destiny pulled a key chain out of her pocket and tossed it in the air. The car keys she took from the counter when she escaped.
"If I remember correctly the car should be behind the research institute" she told herself making sure the plane tickets were secure in her pocket as well as her wallet.
She walked to the institute on the edge of the beach to find a white Porsche with dark windows "Great, now I wont be recognized when I drive around" Destiny smiled excited to finally have her "own" car.
Luckily for her, Destiny had the car under her name and had the license for it, those were the advantages promised to her when she first arrived here.
Destiny opened the car and got in; she decided to check the car before taking off.
In the glove compartment there was a stash of cash, something around a thousand dollars.
'How very lucky'… Destiny grinned. 'Mr. Harrison probably forgot that in our last lesson'.
After checking what the car contained and making sure there was no tracking device, Destiny started driving to the horizon. This is a new beginning for me, a chance to start as new.
The dawn started breaking into a cloudy morning and Destiny started feeling the chillness of the morning.
The drive to the airport took four long hours of anxious nervousness and control on the will with her sweaty palms. Her mind kept whispering like a broken record ‘Free… Free… Free, I’m finally free.’
Destiny figured that by now the people of that place took notice to her absence.
Her mind was too caught up with worry that she didn’t take much notice to the black Mercedes stalking at her shadows.
She arrived at the airport and checked the flight schedule ‘I still have an hour till my flight’ Destiny sighted.
She entered a small café and ordered a cup of cinnamon tea and fresh lemon scones.
She didn’t like being in the crowded café so Destiny took seat in an isolated corner with leather couches.
Suddenly a tall man with a long black leather coat, sat across from her, Destiny couldn’t make out the features of his face because he was wearing designers sunglasses.
His hair was bright caramel like color and was smoothed back. The men seemed familiar to Destiny, for some reason… ‘Ah! It’s the men, who drove the black Mercedes behind me.’ she recalled.
The guy had a silver chain around his neck, it was a silver rosary with a red ruby carved in its middle, it was somehow nostalgic to Destiny.
The ruby Shined mysteriously as if hiding a secret, the men glared at Destiny and then he suddenly got up and walked towards her.
