The church is silent as dark shadows stire in the corners. The men and women who wore black had left me to sand next to my uncles dead, cold, body. Of course, the lid to the coffin was closed. Even though the look of death made me hurt, I wanted to see my uncles face for the last time. A tear slipped away from my eye and slid down my cheek. The coffin still sat still like it was waiting for me to open its lid. My hand tug at the bottom of my short black dress with anger. According to my parents and the news, this had been murder. But who would stop the heart of a kind man? The answer was no where to be found. And who killed him? The answer was kept inside the coffin where my uncles dead body lay. And only I, Deanna Janoski, would find the secret that was kept in the mind of my uncle.
