"911 whatâs your emergency?" "Id like to report a murder." Lyndsie said. "And bring ambulance." A little while later the police came. Kasey was taken to a hospital. Lyndsie watched as they took her to the ambulance. Lyndsie told the police everything. She held the girl at gunpoint and killed Officer Lener. She even killed Kaseyâs father and sister. Lyndsie told them it was all her fault. They took Lyndsie back to the jail and she saw Derek and James. She even saw Kevin. She walked up to them. "Why are you here?" Lyndsie asked. "You." Kevin said. "Since you told the police that I broke into the account they arrested me." Derek, James, and Kevin walked away from Lyndsie. She sat down by herself in the cafeteria. She looked to her right and Kasey wasnât there. The next morning Lyndsie sat alone in her cell, lying on the bed. An officer walked up to her cell and said. "You have a visitor." Lyndsie stood up and saw Kasey walk up to her cell. "Your alive?" Lyndsie said. "Luckily." Kasey said. "I heard you told the police it was your fault." "Yeah I did." Lyndsie. "Are they still arresting you though?" "Nope." Kasey said. "Iâm free. So a 15 year sentence. And you actually deserved it. I cant believe I was friends with someone like that. Where do you plan on going when you get out?" "Nowhere." Lyndsie said. "Iâm staying here until I die." "Really?" Kasey asked. "Yeah. Nobody wants me anymore so I decided to stay here." Lyndsie replied. "Good choice." Kasey said. "Thanks for visiting me." Lyndsie said. "This is the only time so is there anything you want to say to me for one last time." Kasey asked. "Iâm sorry. If I could go back in time I never would have set that plan up. Then we would still be best friends. I guess ill only have to live with the memories. And how did you live anyway?" Lyndsie said and asked. Kasey lifted up her shirt to where the bullet was. There was a scar to mark where they did surgery. "The bullet didnât go that far in and they saved me in enough time." Kasey said. "I did one good deed." Lyndsie. "I saved you." "Yeah after you tried to kill me." Kasey said and walked away. She left the police station and went to where she was shot and put her hand in her pocket. She grabbed two papers. There was one with an address and a name but there was another one with something else. "Whatâs this?" The paper had a note from Lyndsie she must have written waiting for the police to come. Kasey read out loud "No matter what happens ill never leave you. Ill be by your side forever. But I had to shoot you so I could get to jail and you wouldnât have to go. I saved you now like you did before and I know youâll never want to see my face again and thatâs why I asked for a life time sentence. Youâll probably get rid of this note, and I understand but all I want to say is this, Ill miss you more than anything, and that all my good memories are with you. Everything happy in my life I did with you. You were like my sister I never had, and Iâm sorry I had to kill yours but I didnât want to go through life not seeing you, but I ended up like that anyway. Ill miss all the times we had. Seeing you right now on the ground dieing hurts me more than anything, but I know youâll be alright. I didnât want to kill you, I just wanted you to get want you deserved. And that was freedom. So I can finally get what I deserved and you can go on with your life without me. I know I will be sent with a 15 year sentence but I have no one and no point of leaving. I regret killing Cassandra and I know you hate me but I know I need to be here. And I know you deserve happiness. So I wish you have a happy life and hope all your dreams come true." She put down the note and just stood there. Then she stared at the jail and walked away. 15 years later Kasey was in her room living by her mother. She left her house and went to see her mom. "Hey mom." Kasey said as she opened the door. "Hi sweetie." Her mom said as she was drinking tea. "How was your day so far?" her mom asked. "Hard. Knowing that Lyndsie should be getting out of jail now but sheâs staying there forever wont leave my mind today. I was thinking on bailing her out." Kasey said and sat down on a chair. "Well she was the reason Cassandra, your father, and the officer are dead. But she was also your best friend. For your whole lives you two were always together. But then Cassandra didnât want Lyndsie and you to see each other anymore. While Lyndsie should have held it differently, she did it just for you. Just so you two didnât have to be separated." the mom replied. "I know but should I bail her out of their, I have the money." Kasey asked. "Only you can answer that." the mom replied. Kasey left the house and went back to hers. She went inside and there was 2 little kids running around. A boy and a girl. "Mommy!" the kids said and ran to her. Then a man walked up to her. "Hey James." Kasey said. "Are you bailing Lyndsie out?" James asked. "I think so." Kasey said. "I cant believe you would." James said. "What?" Kasey asked. "Kids go play in the living room." The two kids ran to the living room and Kasey and James continued talking. "She put Kevin in jail." James said. "He deserved it." Kasey said. "I donât care, I hate Lyndsie. She put me in jail too." James said. "No you put you in jail. You didnât have to rob the bank." Kasey said. "Its either me or Lyndsie." James said and started to walk away. "Fine. I wont get her." Kasey said. "Good choice." James said. "Iâm going to my fatherâs apartment." Kasey said and left the house she went to her car and drove away. Lyndsie was sitting alone in her cell. She had no one by her except a cop that was always the same every time. "So Stan, howâs your kids." Lyndsie asked the cop that was sitting at a desk eating doughnuts. "Well Ronald just left for college yesterday and Alexis graduated a year early." Stan said. "Stan, Lyndsie has a visitor." a man said from a walkie talkie. "Send her in." Stan replied. "You actually have a visitor." "I do?" Lyndsie asked. Kasey walked up to the cell. "Hi." Kasey said. "What are you doing here? I thought you didnât want to see me anymore." Lyndsie said and walked up to the bars. "I found your note. And it did change my mind. But I wanted to wait 15 years, which was your original time. So I'm bailing you out of here." Kasey said. "You are!" Lyndsie exclaimed. Stan walked up to the cell and unlocked it. "Your free to go." Stan said. "Thanks Stan, ill miss you. Every year I was in this place you were there eating doughnuts." Lyndsie said and hugged Stan goodbye and they did a handshake that they made up. "I never thought id become friends with a criminal or miss them when they left so you are my one and only." Stan said. "Goodbye Stan." Lyndsie said. "Goodbye Lyndsie." They did the handshake one last time and left. Lyndsie turned to Kasey and gave her a huge hug. "Thank you so much for bailing me out." Lyndsie said. "Now James will leave but I donât care." Kasey said. "You married James?" Lyndsie asked. "He was cute." Kasey said. They got in the car and drove home. They went in the house and James saw Lyndsie. "Your fatherâs apartment?" James asked. "I couldnât leave her in the jail." Kasey said. "Fine. You asked for this." James said and picked up a gun and shot Lyndsie. She fell to the ground and blood was coming out of her stomach. James went to shoot Kasey but there was no bullets left. Kasey picked up her gun but then Lyndsie said something. "Give me the gun." Lyndsie said trying hard. "Why?" Kasey asked. "So you donât get arrested for murder." Lyndsie said. Kasey gave Lyndsie the gun and she shot James in the heart. James died quickly but Lyndsie was still barely holding on. "Thanks for not leaving me." Lyndsie said in a quiet voice. "Itâs like when we fought together so we didnât have to go home. I said ill never leave you. No matter what happens." Kasey said. "And I said ill never leave you but I canât go on anymore." Lyndsie said. She started breathing very heavy and fast. "Iâm sorry I have to leave like this but Iâm so glad you came back." Lyndsie said. But for her last words she said. "I regret killing Cassandra but I hope you have a life of happiness and hope you get what you dreamed." Lyndsie closed her eyes and let go of her stomach. Kasey sat there crying and not knowing what would happen next. A year later Kasey lived in a big white house with a bridge connecting another white house. Nobody lived in the other one. Kasey and the boy and the girl lived alone together. They lived by a graveyard, which Kasey went to everyday. She went to a gravesite and put down flowers. The grave read "Lyndsie Nicole Coniglio Beloved Friend and Daughter 1985-2007". Kasey stared at the grave. Then she went to the next one. It read "Officer Henry Lener Beloved Father and Husband 1979-2007". Then she looked at Lyndsies grave again and went home. Where she would live her life, not so happily ever after.
