Chapter 1

Benjamin Sky

Spadesace the phantom thief is the most wanted criminal in the city of Noir'k. He has been known to only steel the item's that have mysterious rumours surrounding them like mysterious deaths or people disappearing near them. I am Rouge and I am going to tell you how it all started and how I met the elusive thief.

Detective Kyle Romero was sitting at his desk going thou the day's mail that arrived at the station. So far he has opened 2 complaint's, 5 informant letters and 20 of this weeks Spadesace fan letters all on e-mail. He sighed, he still had 200 more fan letters to open and it was only 7:30 in the morning, he was in no mood to deal with obsessive fan's but next envelope looked different, it had no name or address and the only thing on it was a picture of a playing card, the ace of spade's, he opened it and inside was a photo of a painting of a big tree and stuck on the back off the photo was a typed note that said: In 2 nights time at the stroke of mid-night I will steel the Great God Tree. Try and catch me if you can detective. Next to the photo was a playing card the same as the picture on the envelope. Kyle signaled to his assistant Robertson and handed him the photo "go find out the whereabouts' and owner of this painting we are treating this as a possible theft" Kyle said.

Benjamin Sky was late for school once again and it was not helping matters that he only got 3 hours sleep the night before
