The knife was stabbed through
The grate of metal on bone
The white-hot pain following out
The warm flow of oozing blood
Each breath like a stab
The darkness crowding around my vision
Sinking into oblivion
Fighting to stay afloat
The cause is lost
There was brilliance about
The suns cheerful rays
Only the sharp shooting pain
To remind me of my ordeal
The justice was unserved
He was free
Out there somewhere
They came
And left me unrested
Yet again did I sink
Here I stand to condemn
The man who once tried to condemn me
What I say shall seal his fate
I look at him he looks away
Frowning did I state
"He tried to kill me so"
Here I stand upon the edge
And look to the darkness beyond
The man is dead the justice served
The weight of a death
Is heavy to bear
Did he deserve it?
Should I have denied it?
One thing remains
The nightmares, the dull ache
I tried to forgive and forget
He tried to kill and hurt
I took the last step
Down into Hell
To erase my existence on earth
