On Sunday March 7th 1982, a woman by the name of Nadine Aponte had her water breakage at Bob's Big Boy. Nadine rushed to the hospital to have me.  All the while, everyone else in California anticipated watching a new episode of The Jeffersons. 

Out came Desiree, named after my Mom's enemy back in high school.  She took the good with the bad I guess.  Now I am my own worst enemy expressing my demons and angels to the public.  A light and dark atmosphere of passion and anguish in the constant struggle of reality and fantasy.  My imagination is in charge of my waking world as well as my sleeping world.  However, I do have a grounding point through friends and family.  Otherwise, I would become a bum on the streets, building a castle out of rocks on someone else's property.  That is something that I'm not ready for!  I paint, write, make puppets, create music, draw, drink coffee, and learn languages on my spare time.  I also love reading non-fiction books about natural disasters, history, or just biography's of musicians.  I splurge on some good vampire novels, and some victorian poetry. 

It doesn't get better than that!.....  Unless you like my writing alongside my dashing personality, or disorder.
