Life, Death, and Time

This a short poem entitled Life, Death, and Time. I drew...

Amateur poet looking for feedback. Much of my poetry is politically charged and if you disagree with my opinions, you will probably detest my poetry. However, negative feedback is just as welcome as positive feedback. Do not feel afraid to criticize, ask questions, or pay me to write a poem about you, your wife, girlfriend, fiancee, mother, sister, etc.

I began writing poetry on February 17, 2011. I started out with a poem called One Nation Under the Influence about how the United States of America tends to sit back and do nothing (sometimes even taking the side of the oppressor) as children slave in diamond mines in the Congo and their parents get forced amputations to prevent them from voting. Meanwhile, we are too busy watching television, pirating music, and feeding the beast that is corporate America to do anything about it. Since then, I have been an avid poet.

My poetry does not have a very diverse set of topics. I typically write about politics, in which I have a very left-wing, progressive stance. I do not, however, consider myself a member of the Democratic Party. I also dabble in the subject of religion in my writing; I am an Agnostic Atheist and find Theism and Atheism equally silly. Sometimes, I write about a variety of other subjects, although this is quite rare.

But, I digress. Please share your thoughts on my poetry. It will be much appreciated.
