Have you ever heard of something called Petticoat Discipline? It is a method of punishment in which case a mother or motherly figure dresses their son up in girly outfits and humiliates them. First used in the 1970s, this form of punishment is now thought to be abusive to children even though it is not illegal. A 14 year-old boy was seen in an Arizona mall in a diaper and frilly baby girl's dress. The mother of the child, when asked, reports that it is his punishment for reasons not said. The mother then said, to the reporters, more humiliating things. A quote from the mother: "If he is going to act like a baby girl, he should be dressed like one." Witnesses say they saw the Mother changing her son's messy diapers in the ladies' room. "It was the weirdest thing." Recounts one witness. "All I saw was a boy in a dress being changed on the changing table. It was creepy, but then I noticed he had actually went in the diaper." Concerned parents say this is a form of child abuse, not too different than Child Pornography. What Do you Think?
