FLYING PIGGY – We eat to live. And some live – to eat! Many eat when hungry while others survive on air alone. But Flying Piggy, in her poem, “fruits, fruits, fruits!”craves for fruit. They not only satisfy her hunger, they make her dance too. Should you too want to dance, go after raspberries, strawberries, kiwi and mangoes. And if you want to sing…h(u)mm

REAPER – Well, well. This is the season of Challenges (competitions, silly). And of all types and one better than the other. Each day numerous challenging poems compete. And Ben’s “disease of happiness…” is one such. A flint-hard man, whom even thunder could not break, has been rocked by infectious love. A disease he welcomes (!!!) Ra ra.

ANARIA – We can accept heartless behaviour from others. But what if that remorseless individual happens to be your own mother! Unbelievable, isn’t it! Kelly’s poem, “gone with no note” is a live example. One day she returned home only to find her mom gone…with the wind. No explanation, a child bereft, her world broken. Sob, sob, sob.

ASHLEIGH BUTCHER – We have high hopes from our friends. And they from us. And we keep hoping against hope that they can read our mind. But can they. Ash’s poem “i imagine” is about this imaginative journey. She is soaking in those moments of togetherness. She wishes he understands what remains unsaid. And he! Imagine, imagine.

BRAUWEILER141 – Now, this is an extremely imaginative tale that may need you to exercise some of your grey matter. Ericka in her book “the unexpected ally” brings up the story of a female assassin, Meliah, who at the very onset kills a man in a store. She meets Adam, who turns out to be her childhood friend. And stunning secrets unveil...

STEPHANEE – She comes across as the most aware and updated girl and that is one of the reasons for her to be featured here. She will tickle the kids no end. And all kids, read her poem “oh, to be a kid again”. As a kid we don’t realise how privileged we are to be carefree but we want to grow up fast. And once we do… There is a lesson here, my dears.

QUEENRANDOMFOLLOWER – Hmm. If Ash can imagine a cosy tête-à-tête with her friend, Queen’s is treacherously ironical. In her poem “irony” she brings out another aspect of this. She likes a guy, who kind of ignores her. He does respond but has other plans. Once she looked up to him. Finally she can’t look at him. And there lies the irony.

XxSportsMVP25xX – When the cupid has struck, you think of nothing else than the love of your life. And Jason has one such love in his poem “vanished in thin air”. One day he calls out to her in despair. He closes his eyes and dreams of her consoling him. He makes the mistake of opening his eyes and she v… Will you repeat his mistake! No, no.

CRAZ4LIFE – While Anaria’s mom is remorseless, Craz4life remains ignorant of her biological mother. In her short story “the day angela faded away forever” she leads a perfect life with her adopted mom. One day, she comes to know her real mom Angela was dead. The pain paves the way for her transformation and for a future. Touching.

DARKELEMENTWARS – THIS IS MY 100th AUTHOR TO WRITE ABOUT. Sci-fi, manga and video games fans! Darkelementwars’s script “virtual saga” has been going strong for about ten months and 35 chapters. The story: A video game has been released with a big prize. Oscar is one among many to play to win. Will he, won’t he… Thrilling.

(As the race for the hot seat heats up, the US Presidential election are keenly watched. Enjoy that fun along with this.)

One Presidential hopeful was campaigning in a rural area. Outside a ramshackle house, he saw a young man milking a cow. He approached the man, ready to make his pitch for a vote. Just as he was getting started, an old man called from inside the house. "Luke, get in the house. And who is that guy you're talking to?" "Says he's a politician, dad," Luke said. "In that case, you'd better bring the cow inside with you."
