AlifeOfSportsIsAGoodLife – Well, well. Do you want to enjoy a basketball game without being there? You can if you read Katherine’s poem “racing into the lead”. The players’ legs are stretched and there is a snarl on their faces. Their hearts thump louder. Their fight for the ball is never-ending. They are competitive. They try hard and succeed. Their hands come together. It is all in the WINNING.
-
AoenRoxx – Although we tell everything to others about ourselves, still something remains untold that is only for us. Jazmin brings it out in her poem “you don’t know the real me”. Everyone has a right to know her and to judge her. And they can keep their thoughts to themselves. No one will know her inner self. There all her secrets are buried. That’s the real SHE.
-
Alyssameep – We all have had our lows when we see only in the negative and have ill-feelings. Alyssa too went through this phase and describes it in her poem “words of blood”. In her depressive mood, she caused pain and hurt. She made others’ unhappy. They made her unhappy. She hates them for acting this way. She can’t understand why she did it? Now she is OK.
-
Helena Parris – Are you all in for some recipes. Do you enter kitchen or is it canned stuff or pre-prepared food? Well, we have a chef amidst us. Helena in her misc piece “spinach quiche” tells us how to prepare this yummy pie. Quiche is an egg pie. Set the oven temperature right. Have the pan ready. You will need a cookie sheet too. Read her recipe. HUNGRY!
-
Britotheanne – When we look around us, we find things that give us enjoyment and happiness. Brianne in her poem “?’s point of view” tells about her fun. When she looks around she finds a cozy family. She also finds needles and lights burning brightly. Now she hears something. That is a growling sound. And finally she sees the cat jumping at her. Isn’t that fun! SWEET
-
c1r9a9z2y – Becca is an excellent reader and reviewer.
-
mykaellakar – This poem is so sweet. There is pain but there is forgiveness too. Mykaella in his poem “soul and heart” was in love with a guy. But soon found that he was courting someone else. This broke her heart. He did try to explain. She is at a loss to understand this. Her confidence is gone. None can mend her heart. She can never forget HIM.
-
JustTMe – Everyone wants to diet to not be fat. But what if God wants us as He wants us to be? Temulun (Mumu) in her poem “god’s beauty” wanted to slim down. She began dieting. She prayed to God to help her out. And God let her know He wanted her as she was. He had made her beautiful in her form. She thanked HIM.
-
1kidz1 – We all have a few regrets in our lives. We want to rectify the mistakes and be right back on the track. Kidz too tries this in her poem “what has happened here?”. This is in her best interest. She doesn’t know how she has reached till there. She has to be strong. She has to mend both body and soul. And it is not EASY.
-
DeceptiveSuperficial – Many of us know what we would like to do but find no ways and means to reach this goal. Something like this is in DS‘s poem “…i…” and it is highly inspiring. She is a creative person. She is extremely confident of herself. She doesn’t lack in wit and humor. But she lacks direction. She knows she can make a difference. She doesn’t know HOW?
