youngwriter - You know, first impressions are not always the best impressions. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time is equally bad. Youngwriter in her poem "wrong impression" had met a guy when she was tired and not in mood. He was cross and she was angry. She yelled at him. He was worried about something. She wants to apologize now. Can they be FRIENDS?
-
XbrokenHeartedX - If youngwriter can apologize, can Zoe be left behind? Its very sweet of anyone to say sorry. That's the beauty about this word. It simply charms the other. She in her poem "i'm sorry I hurt you" had cut herself. (You know, that cut, blade, cut.) She did not tell her parents. When they came to know, they were hurt and upset. She said SORRY.
-
dmlmex - Wow. Some people have a knack for spreading rumors and driving a wedge between lovers. Dmlmex faces this dilemma in her poem "no heart left". She loves a guy dearly. But people are saying bad things about him. She is in two minds. But she trusts him and not them. He had promised never to hurt her. She will go on loving him. Read on.
-
elenamiria - This is the story of a flashlight. Can a body be without a soul? Can a flashlight work without a battery. Elena in her poem "a flashlight without batteries" brings up the plight of a flashlight. Once everyone needed it urgently. Now it is old and not used much. So it has been put up for a garage sale. It is time to say GOODBYE!
-
J Anthony King - Leaving school can be sad but not one's girlfriend. That will be disaster, I guess. Jak in his poem "leaving school but not leaving her" read the school leavers notes in autograph book. They made him smile but soon there were tears in his eyes. Memories came crowding. His girlfriend Lilly too had written a note. Love overcomes him. He can never leave her. NEVER
-
julistar - Well, well. Tell your story without telling your secret. Juli knows this art by heart. In her poem "light me up" she meets her old flame accidentally. In childhood they had shared passionate moments. They drifted apart. Time brought them together again. As grown ups, they reflected back. Their feelings are alive. Intensity never abated. She had thought about him. She had longed for him. HAA!
-
BekahBoo - A teenaged girl with unwanted pregnancy is dreading to tell her parents about it. BekahBoo in her poem "saying the unthinkable" has a young girl, who is expecting. She finally tells about it to her parents. Her mom cries and her dad enquires. But both are very understanding. Her friend too is very much concerned. She doesn't want to abort. She may give it for ADOPTION.
-
raindown - Childhood has such carefreeness that can never be found again. Rain brings about this carefreeness of children in her poem "memory of the river…". Gypsy children are running towards the river, where they can splash around happily. They swim like frogs. Time doesn't matter. Sand covered hands are washed. They are content in their togetherness. They teach each other. Evening creeps in. Time to go HOME.
-
lol123 - Africa has seen poverty. Life is tough there but children don't complain. It is this tough life that Layla brings forth in her poem "nothing ever more". She wants to go to Africa and live a simple life. When she is hungry, she will eat anything. Life may be tough there but it is better than the selfish world she is living in now. WOW!
-
Nita Eads - Sci-fi stories always are thrilling especially when there is romance involved. Nita in her short story "meeting at the beach" has Brooke and Peter enjoying their day on beach. They love each other. Brooke later dies in an accident after giving birth to a boy. Peter then meets Meredith, who is a replica of Brooke. He is extremely surprised. Who is she? What is the SUSPENSE?
