The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian By: Sherman Alexie
The book was really good, i thought it explained teen life very well. Our main character, Junior is growing up on a reservation and with a hand full of mental issues he is having a rough time. When Junior chooses to go to school off the reservation he is in for a whole ton of different happenings. I liked the general likeness of Junior and how even with a mental issue he still is funny. There where a lot of characters that i was unsure if i should trust, and i always expected something horrible to happen. So moving on to the characters, Junior like i said, was very understandable even though hes not right in the head. Roger was really surprising, i thought he was going to be horrible but he turned out to be nice. Rowdy was an ass i'm afraid, he was just a big stick in the mudd.
So in the end i really liked this book and would recommend it to any one with an open mind.
