It is about the pangs of unemployment

An educated man who sits unemployed is a gem that is not being utilized. He or she has knowledge and skills to give forth but no takers. Not being able to earn his keep puts him at the mercy of the world. His wares are more valuable than any gem known on the world but alas he is treated like a pariah. Without a job, he is as good as a pauper. Only this pauper is gifted with knowledge, whose worth goes unwanted and unnoticed. It is just such a person that I am.

Only God understands better when I will be saved from this trial and tribulation that affords nothing but anxiety and heartache. My sole savior in this moment are my parents and a wife who cares for me. So many people who enjoy a fate similar to mine may not be so lucky. The cruel world looks the other way. And so many have perished at their own hands losing hope and committing suicide. Weary from the trials and tribulations bought by their circumstances and losing hope they have taken their own lives.

The rich are oblivious to the suffering fo the poor. Those whose bellies are full are oblivious to the sufferings of the hungry. And those who are healthy care not for the sufferings of those who are unhealthy. None want to carry the burdens of another soul. It is the way life is. In your success, do people flock about you and in your woes none is to be seen.

I knock on different doors much like a beggar going to door to door begging for alms. It is a torrid time. Torrents of gloom make their way to me but only hope and optimism carry me forth.

When will Lady Luck fly my way, when will I have my way to redeem my self esteem which flies so low?
