Page 1, Something that happened recently, I needed to write it.

That night,

A dark night,

I needed you here,

I needed you to banish my tears.

I needed your comforting voice in my ear,

But you didn’t come

You didn’t appear.

You walked away

Without even a say.

My tears trailed down my cheeks

Leaving shallow puddles like a leak.

I ask myself why you would not help me,

You told me you loved me dearly,

Yet you won’t release my pain,

You, my friend, have left a stain.

And this stain, I’m afraid, might never wash away.
