The Sea of Heaven,
Flecked with pearly puffs,
Shaped like the dreams
Of our yearning thoughts.
She snivels when saddened,
And brightens when blissful.
Her breath is the strongest,
And fastest of all breaths.
She sprinkles white
Fluff upon our sight,
Chilling the blood in our veins as it spreads.
Alas! She creates that infuriating heat that boils our heads!
She has such wonderful gifts and tricks
It is no wonder we believe in her intolerable kicks!
