from a thousand friends,

past-coworkers---you
watched your own family
deteriorate, you heard from
the cousins & your brother/
sister who took the plunge,
you heard from random
strangers, you watched on
television, you saw it in
films, you heard on
the radio &
yet,
concerning your own specific
scenario (you know,
the one where you live in
happiness, fucking like bunnies
from sundown to sunup
every goddamn day of the week),
you thought that you &
your significant other
would survive the inevitable
decline of sexual attraction
that comes with the “bliss” of
pledging the
RESSSSSSSSSST
OFFFFFFFFFFFF
YOUUUUUUUR
LIVVVVVVVES
together----
