as if an angry fist clenched &

smashed into a window that did

not shatter, but instead

spider-webbed, each broken

streak cuts through & though

this person does not function as

if s/he were more than one roaming

round inside that head, s/he is

able to divide up the house into

individual rooms with

individual doors & individual

locks---one who walks from room

to room inside, need not converse

about what might be happening or

what has been kept in storage

amidst any of the others, for each

are valuable in different places &

times---the person, the house, acts

with a oneness of the exterior,

giving unique attributes to each

room, giving unique guidelines as

to how to act when standing in any

of the rooms & none of the rules are

the same, just as none of the rooms

resemble the others.
