Chant:
Glycolysis, Redox of pyruvate
Krebs’ cycle, Electron Transport Chain.
Thirty six net ATP molecules,
While doing cellular respiration,
From the day cells divide in your body,
Functioning in your organ,
There’s more to be seen than can ever be seen,
More than a standard microscope can.
Glycolosis needs two ATP
But don’t fret, you’ll get four back
To more of it yield, an O you must wield
To produce even more energy
It’s an ATP cycle
And it moves our cells
To work properly
And keep our cells well,
As they make reactions
Using their ATP
From cellular respiration.
Glycolysis makes two pyruvate,
Two NADH and NAD.
With O breathing spawns for mitochondrion,
Aerobic respiration you’ll see
It’s an ATP cycle
And it moves our cells
To work properly
And keep our cells well,
As they make reactions
Using their ATP
In cellular respiration
Mitochondria take pyruvate
Then makes acetyl Coenzyme A
In the cycle of Krebs, coenzyme’s carbon ebbs
And electron carriers are made
The carriers go to the ETC
And electrons get ripped off them
Active transport makes the gradients break
And electrons pass through ATP synthase
It’s an ATP cycle
And it moves our cells
To work properly
With 32 ATP,
As cells make reactions
Using their ATP
In cellular respiration
In Cellular Respiration
