The True Values of our Government

They'll justify their actions with long speeches,

Fancy words and figures mixed in,

They'll keep charging us more for living,

Soon they'll tax us on our air intake,

Put kids in school for longer hours,

Keep them from growing real views and opinions,

Of the world they'd know more about,

They'll say it's to educate the next generation,

But it's a lie, they want to zombify them,

Put pressure on them through exams,

Crush their spirits, turn them into mindless workers,

Didn't pay your tax?

To fill their already bulging pockets,

They'll make you pay even more,

So much more than you can afford,

They'll take it all, spend it all,

On more guns and ammo for war,

Spend what's left on themselves,

We're their slaves,

And nothing more.
