Metaphors and events relating to time, knowing how the same length of time can seem totally different, according to whatever situation and/or age a person is in. I have this poem on www.allpoetry.com where I am listed as Kjthepoet.

PART I

Time is ticking
Like a little clock

Time is tumbling
Like an avalanche rock

Time is strolling
Slow and steady

Time is coming
Whenever you're ready

Time is soothing
Relaxing now

Time is coming
Anywhere anyhow

time is rolling
rolling by

time is going
anywhere in the sky

time keeps going
on and on

time keeps passing
as you hit the john

PART II

Time goes steady
In a soothing bath

Time goes quickly
As we start to laugh

Time goes rapid
As we party too

Time goes slow
'Till the boredom's through

Time does vary
Different events and stages

Time does vary
For different ages

Time does vary
to us all

So let's make it precious
Not vanish and fall
