A decadent empire now withering unto the ground,
For there is no bread nor money for the peasants of your town,
Not even a token of trust embedded upon your crown,
Escape is calling out to you as you hear the mob of violence sound,
"Let them all eat cake", she just said with a cunning smile,
At once her fate turned quickly, perpetuating self-denial,
Borne to her a little son, after many a loathesome trial,
Propaganda spreading thick, like disease, running wild,
You're slowly being taken into the wings of Death Divine,
For your prison tower shows you no mercy, even as you pine,
Sorrow and Dignity, hand in hand, posessing you like two fiends,
For there's no sun to shine, nor moon; just the blade of the guillotine.
