THE STREETS THE HOMELESS

by Kim Harr on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 6:22pm

THE STREETS ARE VERY TOUGH

THOSE UPON THEM NOT HAVING ENOUGH

BEING OUT THERE ALL ALONE

AS THE PITS OF THEIR STOMACHS GROWL AND GROAN

OUT THERE WITHOUT A PLACE TO CALL HOME

IN THEIR HEARTS NO SHOLOM

WITHIN THE DAY IS THE FIERCE HEAT

CAUSING MORE AND MORE DEFEAT

DARKNESS & WICKED DEEDS DONE UNTO THEM WITHIN THE NIGHT

GIVING EACH OF THEIR HEARTS THE MEMORY OF FRIGHT

WITH NO PLACE TO BECOME CLEAN OR SHOWER

AS THE SMELL OF THEMSELVES SICKENS THEM BY THE HOUR

ONLY WANTING A LITTLE HELP

BUT ONLY LEFT WITH TEARS AND UPON THEIR FEET WELPS

AS THEIR SANITY STARTS TO FADE

DAY BY DAY THEY BECOME MORE AFRAID

IN DESPARATION THEY BEGIN TO PRAY

OH GOD PLEASE PLEASE JUST TAKE ME AWAY

MORE AND MORE BECOME THE THOUGHTS OF NOT WANTING LIVE

WANDERING WHY ANYONE WASNT WILLING TO GIVE
