It's a poem that questions some parts of the bible.

I don't understand what you mean,

When you talk about Adam and Eve.

Was there really a garden of Eden?

The idea seems hard to conceive.

And did it continuously rain,

For forty long days and nights?

How did they fit all the species,

On a boat without causing a fight?

If the earth only took seven days,

And God made it all by himself,

How easily he could cure poverty,

Hunger, disease and bad health.

I'm not a believer in Easter,

And Christmas seems somewhat far fetched.

A man in the sky with an all seeing eye -

The thought leaves me feeling perplexed.

I'm a man who will listen to reason,

That's backed by science and facts.

I believe in the big bang theory,

An account I'll more easily accept.
