THIS IS A POEM ABOUT LONELINESS WHICH I HAD EXPERIENCED DURING THE AFTERNOON SESSION OF MY CLASS.

IT'S MID-AFTERNOON

AND THE TIME DOESN'T GO SOON,

I FEEL ALONE

SINGING IN A LOW TONE.

I ALWAYS DREAM,

NOT GOING ALONG WITH THE STREAM

MY CASTLES ARE SURE TO BREAK DOWN

TO LEAVE ME WITH A BIG FROWN.

I AM SURROUNDED BY MANY

BUT NOT A FRIEND TO ANY;

PEOPLE TALK TO ME FOR A WHILE

WHEN THEY THINK TIME'S A PILE.

LONELINESS MAKES ME FEEL SAD

BUT GETTING USED TO IT ISN'T SO BAD,

NOW, I'VE EXPERIENCED THIS EMOTION

AS MY LIFE IS IN MOTION!
