I hide my face

Because of shame

I hide because

I’m s c a r e d

Of what people would think

Maybe it’s because

I’m different

Maybe it’s because

I’m strange

I CRY out

Yet my voice remains

Unheard

I cry for freedom

I cry for peace

I cry for power

I cry for change

I cry for my people
