A pregnant pause and broken sigh,
A frozen smile on your lips,
I looked at you intensely
You tried to say some thing but
Decided I am not worth your words,
I was waiting for my death sentence,
Rain was mercilessly beating the roof
Is sky pouring its heart out for me?
Your beautiful eyes were searching
I was numb loosing all emotions
Waiting before my soon to be ex-love,
Finally you said it to release me from all pain
It’s all over, forget everything
Was there pain in your voice or relief?
Did I see a forlorn look or disgust?
Yet, I am still here in the same world
With memories of sweet moments
Your memories are not like you
They will never leave me alone..
I am sure my memories will always be with you
