She was the girl everyone thought was perfect. Everyone envied her because they wished to be like her. Nice, caring, loyal, pretty, friendly, and helpful. She was the 21st century Mary; the one everyone looked up to. She was Anna and she was perfect until her sister told the truth. It had been a normal day. Hot, rainy, and humid. But if you tried hard enough you could feel that the air held mourning peoples feelings. Everyone was sad, or atleast pretending to. Afterall, Anna had been killed. She was caught up in a fight when a "gangster" tried to mug her. Like everyone else would, she put up a fight, clueless that he would kill her.
Everyone who was present in the room was silent, to caught up in their own thoughts to share their feelings. "Um, hi. My name is Taylor Hale, Anna's sister." the voice on the school intercom said in a sad voice.
"It's kind of obvious that my sister is dead. Everyone's talking about it. The guy who killed her could have killed any girl. Right? No. When my family was cleaning out her room I found her diary. This is the entry that revealed the truth:
'February 26, 2012
I'm scared. He keeps chasing me and making threats. He wants to kill me and if I tell anybody he will kill Sadie, too. Sadie is not a nice person but she's still human. She bullied me and made my life a terror but I won't let her die.
Sadie'
My sister gave her life up for a girl who never cared about anyone but herself. My sister truly is someone you should try to be. Life is short. Don't make it about you but make it about others."
People gasped and some started crying. Anna changed everyone. She made the world better.
