It was the first time I had left
country. I was excited to go to Cancun for vacation. It was also
the very first time I had been on a plane. I fell asleep on the
plane, but when I woke up, I got bored, so I read my favourite
book. While I was on the plane I also looked out the window and
you could see for miles.
Once I got off the plane, I head
straight for the beach. I was excited to swim in salt water for
the very first time. The water was crystal clear and looked so
beautiful. You could see the horizon line and fish jumping all
over the place. In the distance I saw fins off the backs of
sharks and whales. One whale blew water out of its
I rushed for the water and dove
straight in. I began to float remembering that it was salt water
and drifted off. About 50 feet away from shore, fish were jumping
all over the place near me and a shark ate the fish near me. The
shark got closer and closer; I hesitated and quickly rushed to
shore. The shark started to chase after me and was catching up. I
quickly looked back to see where the shark was and when I looked,
the shark jumped and opened its mouth. I could see blood
squirting all over the place inside its mouth, hundreds of teeth
all red and its eyes pure black. For a second I thought this was
the end for me, then all of a sudden another shark attacks the
shark that was facing me.
They start to battle it out and I
just swim to shore. I watch the fight from shore and it was so
gruesome. One shark has teeth stuck to itself and the other has
blood gouging from its face.
I go back to the hotel and my mom
asks, "How was the beach?"
I reply, "You don't want to
