I recently became a Christian - and so many people were telling me "oh, when you're a christian you can't do this, you can't do that", and "you can't believe in this". This is basically me blabbering on about what i believe, and you getting a good laugh, or actually getting something out of it.

I think that no one can tell me how to believe. It's my choice. If I want to read romance novels, I'll read romance novels.

Love the Lord, and love thy neighbor. Those are the commandments I try to follow - there's nothing about going to church (although I think it helps to be surrounded by people that will help you) or not believing in vampires.

I say "fuck them" because if I want to be a Vampire, I can bloody well be a vampire.

Anyways, check it out. It's kind of dumb - but I like it, and it's purely me. :)

Thanks,

Dannika. View table of contents...

Hey Dani. I just want to say--wow, a girl after my own heart. It's so...awesome to see Christians who are actually "followers of Christ" and not just "Christians" by religion or family tradition or whatever. Dude, I agree with everything you said in this, you think like I do! That's so awesome!

I grew up in a Christian home, both my parents grew up not Christian and ended up at the same church, got saved, fell in love, bata bing bata bing--there I was.

I went to school in a private Christian school, I didn't know anyone except family member who weren't Christians, I lived in a happy bubble of bible verses and intense prayer time among eight-year olds. While I don't think those years were any less real than what I have right now, I know there's a HUGE difference between a "religion of your parents" and a faith--a real, you know, choice, existence, path that you're following of your own accord and by your own discoveries. I guess when I entered the mainstream world of tv, violence, cussing teens and public school mayhem, I really got tested and shaken up. I got redefined, I had to rebuild everything I'd been taught upon my own belief system and my own, personal faith.

But even with our different beginnings you and I sound a lot alike.

Dude, I'd love to talk to you sometime, or just chat or something about God, or whatever you know, I'm cool and stuff. I've been having some hard times in a way just because I've been sort of out touch with things but I want to refocus on God a bit, especially with the school year about to start (Junior year--ugh). I'm going to really need him.

Send me a message or something sometime! Seriously--I'd love it.

Anyway, rock on.

Oh, yay! I'm happy you liked it. Okay, so I accidentally erased the entire message that was super long (just like i did five times with Taking Our Eternity), and I just wanted to let you know (in the really short version), I love you for commenting, I will definitely chat with you about God, and please, e-mail me at Eternityy@live.com or post a comment on one of my stories and I'll reply, and that should start a conversation.

oh, and please, if you could answer the questions from Taking Our Eternity - like what do you think of hell. :)

Thank you so much!!! I put like fifty million smiley faces and hearts in my previous reply, so here you go:

:)
