Did you know that the type of clothing you wear can determine how hot or cold you are? You see if it is a hot day, then you feel hot, and a cold day cold; but some clothing can make you feel more hotter than you should be or more cooler. Black absorbs all the light from the sun but white reflects the light.

In Japan there were nuclear explosions and they released a type of light. The experts and specialist who went there to investigate wore all round white, so they would not be affected as much as the others who live d near the area. Also when a person goes Hajj in one of those hot countries, they were white to avoid the sun being absorbed. Other colours are not as effective because the light is made of all different colours. If you wear pink for example, the pink light is absorbed and the rest is reflected. That is also how you see the colour.

All the colours make white though, so it is confusing how it doesn't absorb the light. A white light is made up of many wavelengths mixed together. They are invisible and visible mixed together. So an object that looks white is reflecting all the wavelengths so absorbing nothing.
