I could write forever, you know.
About nothing. Absolutely nothing
Have you ever read Charlotte's Web?
I did, in grade three I think.
And I remember clearly that there was an entire page
About "less than nothing."
The old ram said to wilbur,
"I care less than nothing about pigs"
Or something like that
And Wilbur thought,
"How can you care LESS than NOTHING"
For a whole page.
But I can think about less than nothing
Forever. And ever. And ever. Amen.
I don't know why. Maybe I just over think things
Or I overthink nothings. I don't think that's grammatically correct.
But I don't care either. I care less than nothing about it.
Because I know how to care less than nothing,
I guess a care worth nothing would be indifference
And then less than nothing would be dislike.
Does that make sense?
I don't know. I don't care.
But I do care about some things,
Don't get me wrong.
In fact, I care a lot about things
That maybe you don't care a about at all.
I care about cheese. Cheese is important
And I care about the Sun
And the Earth and the Trees.
So, I guess that's why I recycle,
Here, Earth. I will not give you this garbage.
I will send it so it can be made into more of its kind
So that I wont have to take more of your trees
It's a strange gift. A gift of less than nothing.
The gift is in not giving back what you took.
So that you won't have to take more later.
But you already took something!
So you owe it back!
But if you give it back, you are not repaying the Earth
Because the Earth doesn't want it back.
It's just so strange.
That less than nothing
Can be something
Even though it's not.
