Chapter 4: New Guy? I woke up in my bed, not knowing how I got there. the backpack was in my arms, still a bit wet and muddy. It was only the next morning. And there was school. I took a quick shower, and fitted myself it a pair of jet black skinnies and a half torn Hollywood Undead band tee. I straight ironed my hair and teased it a bit. I clipped in a few bows and put on my knee high converse. Purple of course. I put my school things in my now dry panda pack and walked to the bus stop before my family woke up. It was still early of course. I pulled out my iPod until someone knocked it out of my hand. I turned around to see David and few of his friends. "Dudes, look at this chick, what a loser" One of them said. "She's so pathetic. Go cut yourself you stupid emo." Said another. I felt tears forming around the rims of my eyes, but I fought them back. "Guys, she's gonna cry, what? Ran out of tears?" David said. "ASSHOLE!" I ran up to him and gave him a punch across the face. I saw 2 of them try to hold me back, defending their "leader". David looked up and there was a cut in his lip. He looked at me with disappointment, then walked to the bus as it came around. The bus ride to school was rowdy, as usual. One stop seemed to catch my attention. I presume that he was new, only because I had never seen him before. But I have. Somewhere. He took one look at me, before he half ran just to sit next to me. I looked away as he came, but he never seemed bothered by it. "I'm sorry for scaring you, but I was the one you bumped into last night." I looked up, and it was. The same black hair. The brown eyes, the lip piercings, the style of his clothes, the same. "Oh, uh, hi. My name is Addison Moniz." I replied shyly "Beautiful name for a beautiful girl. I'm Dakota Carson." He said without hesitation. I smiled, but it faded away when David turned around from the seat in front of me. "Beautiful? Do you see this chick? She's a pathetic emo loser! And NOTHING more." I felt the tears again, but Dakota seemed to ignore the harsh words as he wiped them away. We arrived at school. Dakota and I had all different classes, and he seemed upset that he couldn't get to see me. "Well, just meet me at history afterschool. I want to show you something." He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, and walked away, leaving me speechless.
