Silvia Grey
Silvia Grey is the main character of the entire series. She was the last Thief to be experimented on and was thought to be the only one to help the Humans. The result, however, was that she turned against them five days later and turned into the way all the Thieves had turned out to be. She consists of a long, poisonous, robotic Scorpion tail and long, sharp silver nails. Silvia is cunning, calculative, manipulative and a real Escape Artist, squeezing her way out of trouble one road or another. She is somewhat spontaneous though and is quite quick on things. Silvia met a Thief (Sean Stars) ten years after she was experimented on and she and her new follower found a hideout built by, now one of her close friends, Barsy Cades, another Thief. They were followed by Sam Cords, yet another Thief and the four became close. She proclaimed herself the Leader of the group shortly afterwards which shows a sign that she is somewhat bossy and slightly self-obsessed. Silvia loathes Humans as all Thieves do and she appears as a twelve-year old girl although she is actually very old, maybe over 60 years. It is because Thieves never age and cannot be killed easily.
Deep down, Silvia is actually fun-loving and kind towards her friends and treats each one with the same amount of respect. Silvia’s criminal record is very high, she even breaks the record of any crimes Thieves can make as she commits over one-hundred. She ends up on the dreaded planet of Trano, a massive prison, but escapes by the lack of concentration by a Scientist. Silvia plots revenge on Daniel Polo, her arch nemesis and fails to do this every time however. In some characters opinions Silvia is somewhat attractive and extremely irresistible to such as Bryan Summers and Max Polo. But to other characters such as Daniel and Toby Brown she is annoying and gullible reflecting on her spontaneous behaviour. Silvia also uses trickery and deceit to reach her goals also portraying her as a Pathological Liar.
Max Polo
Max is yet again another main character of the entire series. Max is a twelve-year old Human boy who is the nephew of Daniel Polo, the Chief of Police. Max is a kind, energetic and enthusiastic character who likes to have a bit of fun every now and then. Before he met Silvia, Max was a Thief loather and was growing up to be exactly like Daniel. Although when Daniel planned to get the two to like each-other and use Max to find more info on Silvia, Max took a liking to her and didn’t do anything at all. He then broke his Uncle’s warnings and visited Silvia at her hideout, accidently finding it in Queens. Max then became a friend of Silvia’s and keeps seeing her, until his other friend, Cindy Sparks, finds his diary and discovers all of his secrets. She tells Daniel of-course and Max is led to suffer with guilt. Losing one of his friends and his true love, Max takes a strong disliking to the Police and refuses to speak to his Uncle for a while. Sean Stars
Sean is Silvia’s closest friend and has been with her for a long time. Sean escaped from a soviet lab in Los Angeles and fled to New York meeting Silvia while committing her seventy-eighth crime. Sean bond with her and helped her get what she wanted. Sean is a Thief that appears as an eighteen-year old. He is rough, strict and serious and only shows any kindness towards Silvia. Sean is quite self-obsessed and is proud of who he is. He was once a nice b0y when he was a Human and the experiment changed his life completely. Sean is the second most-wanted Thief in the Galaxy and is proud of it also. Although he is tough-and-rumble he has a huge fear of being closed in. Sean is desperate for a girlfriend and still hasn’t succeeded although his infamous reputation has got him greatly known. This is probably because he comes across as ignorant and cheeky although he is actually good-looking and patient.
Daniel Polo
Daniel is Silvia’s arch-nemesis throughout the series. Daniel’s goal is to gain money off Silvia and keep her locked up for life. He is the Human Chief of Police and is serious and proud. He is thirty-five years old and loves to make Thieves suffer. He takes great delight in creating the misfortune of Thieves but loathes when they appear happy. Daniel is the Uncle of Max and has to tolerate with him everyday. Daniel takes a liking of Max’s friend Cindy Sparks because of her loathing of Thieves. He expects her, too, to become a part of the Police force and it certainly is a possibility for the future. Daniel is strict to most Police Officers and usually has his eye out for a Woman as he needs someone to mind Max while he’s at work. Despite what anyone says, Daniel actually goes through a lot of stress and suffering, being a Police Officer and occasionally being attacked by Silvia and her friends. Daniel, at some points, takes a liking of Silvia, probably because of her scheming nature or her skills of combat. Although most of the time, he sees her as treacherous, cowardly and, more importantly and still encouraging him, a THREAT. He sees her as cowardly mainly because she is usually forced to retreat and the fact that she betrayed the Humans. To sum up, he likes to get the job done, no matter the costs.
Barsy Cades
Barsy is a Thief who, like Sean, appears as an eighteen-year old. He is very, very intelligent and polite. He supports Silvia and the rest by building and creating devices to help them succeed in their crimes, which means Barsy is probably the most important one of the group. Barsy comes across as bossy and stubborn but he is polite and can’t tolerate rudeness. Barsy is a Thief but others find him weird because the only thing that didn’t change about him was his personality. Silvia’s hideout was even built by Barsy and that is where he hid until Silvia, Sean and Sam had found it. Barsy likes to get his own way and loves when people follow his rules. Sean sees him as irritating and unfair but Sam is the complete opposite, he thinks Barsy should be in command of the group but the problem is that Silvia is in charge... And Sam won’t admit it. Other than that, Barsy shows complete respect to Silvia and goes with her plans rather than Sean’s or Sam’s.
Cindy Sparks
Cindy Sparks is a twelve-year old Human girl with an attitude. Cindy possess a crush on Max and thinks that Max does not know about it... But the truth is, he does. Cindy is rich as her Dad is a Weatherman and her Mum is a Scientist working at top-graded labs across the world. Cindy’s closest friend is Henna Williams as the two are usually seen together. Cindy likes fun and although she is a Girly-Girl and loves make-up and clothes, she has a love of weaponry and the use of it. Cindy actually has her very own personal Pistol that nobody knows about. She keeps it in a pocket inside her cardigan but abides by her rule; “If I bring it to School I will never stop getting attention from all those Boys”. Cindy loathes Thieves and ends up becoming Silvia’s rival, since she found out about Max liking her. Cindy is fairly well-mannered and has a passionate flair for Art and Design. She is also quite cowardly though but very ambitious.
Sam Cords
Sam is a Thief who appears as an eighteen-year old boy. When he was a Human, Sam was a Gangster and a REAL Trouble-Maker. He was cheeky and lived on drink and drugs. His “perfect” life was ruined when he was chosen to be experimented on and he changed completely. The result was that he became kind, quiet and somewhat childish. Sam loves gaming, sleeping and eating. He is quick though. Sam tries to manipulate people into doing what he wants but always fails. He is also very sensitive but doesn’t take things seriously which is a disadvantage in the field. Sam hates Humans and has a great rivalry with Daniel. Daniel took him to Platform 111 which is where he was tortured. He was blinded for a few hours and his eyes were full of blood, he was aching all over and his skin went to a slight tan as the results. Sam hates the disability of being free and loves his own personal space at times. Sam respects Barsy and shows respect to Silvia, his Leader.
Mark Thomas
Mark is a twelve-year old Human boy. He loves the dark and is quite gothic as he always wears dark clothes. His Father is a Soldier so he spends most of his time at Max’s. Mark hates being in public but tends to show-off in School but it’s Max who gets the attention. Mark likes Max as a friend but takes great envy when he is near Girls... Especially Henna. Mark is brave but somewhat treacherous at times. Although Mark is nice to his friends, he hates it when he is not listened to or ignored which leads to his violence he gets from his Dad.
Henna Williams
Henna is a twelve-year old Human girl who is shy and nervous.She is the kindest and sweetest person throughout the entire series. She lives at an apartment with her Mum, Dad and Grandmother not being able to ignore the fact that her parents tell her to do things against the law... Henna likes Art and Science and is very calculating. She has a fair interest in Thieves which is against the law (“I don’t CARE!” – Henna) and enjoys Thief Studies at School. Henna hates being noticeable and doesn’t join in with anything including clubs, talent shows, societies e.t.c. No one knows much about Henna’s family life which portrays to characters that she is very secretive and mysterious. Henna possesses a secret crush on Mark and wishes that she would one day have the confidence to admit it to him.
