Let me describe the ad. as shown similarly by the two newspapers, one in vernacular and the other in English.
The girl’s rump is exposed with pink designer panties, having shades of melodious white as leafy frills. She is kneeling on a bed, covering her back with a blanket, exposing a little part of it as a posture. Her legs are bent revealing a sort of prayer, i.e., a prayer, where one kneels and submits to the almighty God in the devoutness of a compassion and confession.
Over her body and covering her: the newspaper screams and scrawls with the graphemes: ‘jockeying’—being the name of the company selling the product.
The advertiser has been a shady clever; he/she has subverted the body part to be exposed and revealed it stunningly as a code to be enticed and to buy the product. No harm there! He/she has also subverted the code of religion to expose her to another symbolism—holy blasphemy. That is, her body posture as a whole, in the act of kneeling— while her rump is exposed to the camera as the viewer’s choice to buy the product.
