As someone who has lived in Texas for their 22 years in life I am a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, but every season comes with a lot of ups and downs, so in a way it was no suprise to me when the Cowboys season ended quickly. During the last few weeks of the NFL season I started becomig interested in the Ravens mainly because of Ray Lewis and the way he would lead the team with his speeches and leadership. Before this time I did not know a single thing abous Ray Lewis, until I found some information one part stuck out, an incident that happened in 2000, which involved him at a club and two people getting killed. Ray has always said that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time, he also spen two weeks in an Atlanta jail wherer he heard God whisper to him "Can you hear me now". That changed his life and from then on he has changed his life around, by doing so much good for the city of Baltimore, and becoming such a strong man of faith. As a Christian I know how to forgive, but I can't speak for those faimiles who lost someone they love, I know you mourn the death of a loved one and I know you may not forgive that person, but after 13 years does it not hurt the heart when you can't forgive. Even today people can't seem to let go that part of his past they simply know him from what he was in 2000 and not who he is now in 2013 he is a loving father, Christian. Ray has gone living his life the way God wanted him to, but so many want to continue living like it's the year 2000. So I ask you this Ray is living his life trying to inspire others, what are you accomplishing with yours when you continue to bring up the past.
