The people who have most influenced me in my life are my parents. My mom and dad are loving individuals who have helped me get to where I am today. Without their support and love I would never be able to accomplish the things I have once only dreamed about. Observing their every move each and every day I learn from them, the good and bad. They help me with problems that I have and help guide me in the right direction suggesting ways to make things better. When I have had a bad day and feel like locking myself in my bedroom to cry the night away they comfort me; usually making me laugh a little! They are not perfect people but I could never ask for a better set of parents and two people who are also my best friends. They push me to do the very best that they know I can do, teaching me not to settle for just passing, but to try to be over and beyond average.

My favorite Bible verse is:

"Let your light shine before men so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven"

This verse from the book of Matthew really sticks out to me because it portrays the type of Christian I strive to be every day. Believe it or not peopel who are not followers of Christ can ((should)) easily tell a difference in your life when you have accepted Jesus into your heart. In everything I do I try to do it to the best of my ability and to gloriy God. The reason I chose the verse that I did was to show people that if you're not the richest and most popular person, God will help you get through life. You can be rich and independent because of your success, but that doesn't mean your going to have a happy life; it is a misconception. Many famous people have more desolate lives than the average Joe and only concentrate on their riches and fame. God doesn't care how rich or poor you are, everyone is sought to be the same in his eyes. If you ask God to help you through hard times he will help you, although at times it seems as if he is not there. He may test you throughout your difficulties, but he is always there with you along the way.
