your essay dealth with a subject i've been pondering often - namely, what is the future of fiction in the age of the Internet, video, reality tv, etc. will books and more specifically literature survive into the 22nd century?
i believe they will. it is my belief that humans have been creating stories since the beginning of time, becauase, as you point out, it is a part of being human. the medium may change, but the storytelling will never stop.
well, that's my ramble for today. thanks for a thought provoking essay.
