FRA essay what my vote means to me

Essay By: Wulfgang

What my vote means to me is the well being of my country. Voting decides who is fit to lead this glorious country, which, throughout my existence I have found deep admiration in. One vote could decide this election, any election. One person's vote could drive America back into a golden age, or possibly drive the country into totalitarianism. Throughout past years I've watched as the leadership of this country has driven Uncle Sam into the dirt, We are being smothered. Through this strife the people have become divided. Republican or Democrat, left or right. But I've come to learn that whether a man stands on the left wing or the right wing the plane crashes.

People now vote based off titles, not opinions. This country pays the price for these acts. Not just people who fail to vote hurt this country, but people who vote not based off what they themselves believe. My vote means to me that it is my duty not to use it friviulously. To vote based on what I believe will best benifit the country. I see today what seems to me, the American people have lost intrest, or now fail to pay attention. We need to decide individually whether we truely want liberty. That we as the American people will fight to maintain freedom. Or is it that you crave conformity. Want to be shackled by the government. Parented. So far I see the latter as our fate. Yet when I look apon people, Americans I do not believe that this is what most Americans want. But what they've been trained to see as liberty. When you grow up a life in march water, you forget what the spring is like. My vote encourages me to open my eyes. To listen and to think. Is the person I am voting for actually proposing ideal I agree with? If not, why do we vote for him? I've heard said before during this election that the lesser of two evils is still evil. My vote cannot be settled apon. I either like what you're for or dont. There is no room for catch .22's in leadership. There is no room for error either. No mistakes, and if there are then they must be corrected swiftley. I admire what Clint Eastwood said, "If they can't do the job, then we gotta' let'm go." So what my vote means to me, and what i believe it should mean to everyone, is the sanctity of my country. Whether or not you and I as the American people will uphold liberty, at all costs.
