The long way Home
Natalie Sawyer is used to having everything her own way. Beautiful and talented, her friends excuse her quirks and accept her. But when she and her best friend, Isabelle, have a fallout, Natalie is left feeling betrayed and alone. Stripped of the dream they shared to travel, she setsout for a small town in Tennessee where her cousins live. There, she meets a whole new group of friends, all with different views on friendship and a variety of interests. A part of Natalie that has been stifled for a long while starts to push its way through. With help from her new friends, can she ease back into a passion she abandoned and lost?
And then there's Sam. Friendly, musical and mysterious, Sam appears to be just another guy in the crowd, participating in the volunteer projects around the town. Sam's parents are tourists, sparking back the interest Natalie always harbored to set foot in a new land. But with Sam's help and the others, can she ever appreciate the importance of home? With some struggle, Natalie will have to come to terms with herself and learn that life isn't all or nothing. Determination from Sam to be honest, the push from Marah to give first love her all, teach Natalie that one of the most beautiful things about life is the unexpected. And with it, comes forgiveness.
