The Macro-Primary Nutrient
Potassium is involved in over 60 different enzyme systems within the plant!
All plants need potassium but plants high in carbohydrates, like potatoes, thrive with potassium. Thank Potassium for your French Fries.
Potassium helps plants resist drought and tolerate high heat.
It retards crop disease and is a part of the photosynthesis process.
Potassium makes your plant strong meaning its necessary for protein formation.
Plants don't suffer from to much Potassium however older leaves, like on potatoes because potatoes grow all summer, the leaves will fall off not helping the potatoes aka tubers to grow. Life would be terrible without French Fries!
Potassium, like other macro or primary and secondary nutrients, will show up in higher Ph levels but will not be as prominent in lower Ph levels. Something between 7 and 7.5 will probably contain Potassium.
Remember that Potassium makes potatoes and therefore French Fries. If you forget it you might loose French Fries causing the world to end in 2012 Ahhhhh!
