Let's start off with the characters.
Martin - my boyfriend Michael. Most of what Martin says has not been said by Michael, but hey. It's a pretty good mock-up of Michael's character. The physical descriptions are all accurate.
Tamara - me. Big surprise. She's a lot sassier than me, and doesn't cuss as much as I do, but apart from that we're dead similar.
Nate - my ex boyfriend and one of my best friends, Nathan. He and I spend most of our lives arguing and then making up, but I love him to bits for it. No sarcasm involved.
Randi - my best friend Bryony. Randi is quite similar to Bryony, but there are a fair few differences. Don't ask me to list them, I can't remember all of them XD.
Jez - Jez is loosely based on two people, my mate Ted and my mate Harry Heath. I figured that I could give him Harry's wittiness and Ted's humour, and that's the result. I have to say, a good job done there!
Annie - Michael's sister. She's nutty as anything, but I love her to bits.
Aunt Jane - loosely based on my friend Lauren, who is a lot like my Aunt Jane. Also based on Bella's mum (yes, Bella from Twilight, yes I like the films, deal with it).
Scott - based on my dad. Weird, huh?
Prinz - surprise surprise, based on someone I know from my old school called Peter Bean.
Gracie - based on a girl I knew called Jess Bell. Less said about her the better - she made my life hell for 2 years. Nuff said.
Why did I write One Girl's Fight?
Well, I had the title knocking around in my head for a while, so I thought about putting it into poetry. After many failed attempts, I went back to the drawing board and this story took shape. It's mostly autobiographical, but I'm saying no more!
Now for the sequel. Yes, there will be a sequel!
OK. Well, all the characters listed above will appear, with Prinz, Annie, Scott and Aunt Jane having bigger roles.
The sequel will be called Call Me Angel.
And that's all I really have to say.
