Asterisk THIS!

Not sure how to describe it -
except with this quote

" I've written some poetry I don't understand myself." ~Carl Sandburg View table of contents...

My heart.
scared to hope.
Wraps itself Up.
Carefully.
Layer
Upon
Layer
Of Apathy
Around It;
A Bubble: I was afraid to burst;
but now; Afraid I Can't Get Through.

But as long as llamas smell.
And cheese remains yellow.
And seal-whacking is illegal
There is hope.

Cuz I'm gonna get used to it
(Get used to it)
Tho Vikki's eyes burn
(burn)

Sumo wrestlers will agree.
After heavy deliberation.
That the line, so fine,
Between weirdom and insanity
Unbearable mediocrity
Has been crossed
Nay; SAT UPON
With the gigantic buttocks of the Elephant.
A bum cheek on each side.
Equally spreading the Love.
Of Pudding.

*bongo drums)

Thanks ! :)
I had fun writing it ahaha

*asterisks this*
The was oddly insightful. I enjoyed the random quality about this poem. It rolled off the tongue and expressed some intelligible idea that is strangely familiar and out of reach.

lol
"oddly insightful"
"intelligible idea that is strangely familiar and out of reach"

wow -
i really liked your comment -
truth is, to me , there is a lot of meaning in this poem -
it's a mixture of love and hope and my personality as a whole -
the beginning kind of speaks for itself, about my heart being scared to hope and wrapping itself up in apathy - and maybe having too much apathy around it that i cna't get through -

but as long , as i am myself -
as crazy and random as i am ,

"the line so fine between WEirdom and Insanity has been crossed"
because I can't bear to not be myself and be mediocre "unbearable medocrity" ,

I'll be fine .

lol

this was fun to read, like rosenoire said. it was interesting with the funny randomness (but if it wasnt supposed to be random, it wsnt :) ). keep up the good work! id like to see a novel written by you, it would be interesting =)

much love, ggc =(*.*)=

hey thanks a lot !
yeah , i'm working on a novel
and a screenplay right now ,
but none is hardly good enough for booksie yet ahah
but i'll keep you posted

"layer upon layer of apathy"

Very deep stuff. I could find the randomness in this, yet in a way, it almost made sense. The sumo-wrestlers, deliberating, I could actually visualize this!!

Haha,
Yeah , the sumo wrestlers deliberating ...
that came out of nowhere to be honest ...
but then again, when do we REALLY get warned about sumo wrestlers right ?

wow!x!..
you're very talented..
yooh managed to make create somthing dat is both deep and insightful, while at the same time quite random and funny to read..

for some strange reason..
mi fave liine is
".. gigantic buttocks of an elephant
a butt cheek on each side.."

xlolx..

well done hun!..
