Not sure how to describe it -
except with this quote
" I've written some poetry I don't understand myself." ~Carl Sandburg

My heart.
scared to hope.
Wraps itself Up.
Carefully.
Layer
Upon
Layer
Of Apathy
Around It;
A Bubble: I was afraid to burst;
but now; Afraid I Can't Get Through.
But as long as llamas smell.
And cheese remains yellow.
And seal-whacking is illegal
There is hope.
Cuz I'm gonna get used to it
(Get used to it)
Tho Vikki's eyes burn
(burn)
Sumo wrestlers will agree.
After heavy deliberation.
That the line, so fine,
Between weirdom and insanity
Unbearable mediocrity
Has been crossed
Nay; SAT UPON
With the gigantic buttocks of the Elephant.
A bum cheek on each side.
Equally spreading the Love.
Of Pudding.

*asterisks this*
The was oddly insightful. I enjoyed the random quality about this poem. It rolled off the tongue and expressed some intelligible idea that is strangely familiar and out of reach.

"layer upon layer of apathy"
Very deep stuff. I could find the randomness in this, yet in a way, it almost made sense. The sumo-wrestlers, deliberating, I could actually visualize this!!
