Ideas: Raining Stars

Written in diary form, this is an idea that I thought of one day. It decribes the most unusual and beautiful weather. I will most likely never use it in a story, so if anyone wants to use it, go right ahead. View table of contents...

Bits of light fall, light as snow. They swirl in the wind, dancing to soundless music. Colors, red, blue, purple, green, or white shine within them. It is like twirling in a galaxy with stars in all directions. And while they fall like snow they feel like rain. When they touch something they splatter, sending a glow into the object that makes it shine with natural beauty. Usually these stars fall with rain or snow, putting light in depressing weather. But sometimes, not often, they fall all by themselves, making the world glow. Like today.
