At one time there was another race on earth. They were slightly shorter than most average sized people and had pointed ears. They lived mostly in western Europe and northern Africa. Knowledge was treasured by them and they were right up there with the Atlantians. They were also believed to have mystic powers, which became their downfall. Others saw them as tribes of witches and wizards. They attacked the elf eared people, vowing kill any of their army and taking the women and children into slavery. Only, the elf eared peoples army consisted of men and women, and when they became desperate they also employed any children that could hold a weapon. At the end of the war only about a quarter of the elf eared people had survived. Every one was put into slavery. But the love of knowledge continued. Masters had a hard time with horribly clever slaves. The third generation of slaves was half the size it should’ve been because there had been so many escapees. They had absolutely no benefit to the economy because they were so difficult. Eventually a king ordered them all to be executed. But before the slaughter day came every elf ear disappeared. Their descendents live among us today.
