I watched Oprah yet again today she just seems to give me the spark to talk about ideas that I already have in my head. So I had already been campaigning for president I guess you could say. I have been telling people I meet to vote for me in 2036. This is funny because the young geniuses were on today and this child was campaigning for 2032. He would be the youngest president if he wins ever elected. This made me think about if I wanted to run earlier or not because I had wanted to be the youngest president. Then it rekindled another thought in my mind. I realized that I do not need to be in some huge political position to change the world for the better. I can due that through inspirational talk. I finally have time to get this idea out and today seems like a great day. Federal laws obviously apply to the whole country. Well I didn’t have an opportunity to vote on any of these laws. Did I? I know that we have people in the house of representatives and congress. What I am proposing that instead of these people voting for what they think we want as people each state should have the say in what the people who represent us vote upon. Not the people we appoint get complete control over thousands upon thousands of peoples votes. Just make voting on all federal matter held individually within states and then do electoral votes like in the elections. New Hampshire for example would have a total of four votes within both congress and the house of representatives. This makes more sense to me then having people who are in places of power making decisions that are not theirs to make. Just food for thought and maybe I will suggest a bill to add this into the rules we have in America. Cheer B Leaf.
