Haven’t I told you about this place before? I’m glad you finally made it. Sure, your journey was long, and probably tedious… But the effort was worth it.
I came to Booksie when I needed shelter from a storm. I lost my way, both literally and figuratively. Booksie was my shield, keeping everything that could bring me down ricocheting off its umbrella of serenity. But then, it brought them all back to me and shoved them into my face, not relenting until I dealt with my problems head on. For that, I thank you Booksie, and all of the amazing people who populate such a place.
Booksie is a wonderful place because it is the only one like it in the world. Here, we are both cut off from the world, yet more aware of it at the same time. We don’t discriminate based on looks, religion, or gender here. We don’t discriminate at all! It’s called constructive criticism! If you don’t like something, you comment the person telling them what you think they can improve on.  Everyone here is understanding, and willing to help your growth as a writer and a person. We aren’t just acquaintances, but friends. The people of Booksie are like an extended family. (Trust me, I mean EXTENDED)
For the past year, I’ve watched as Booksie has grown in into a large metropolitan center, with people of all backgrounds in all places. And as Booksie grows, so do its members. I know from firsthand experience that Booksie has helped me in becoming a better writer, and a more expressive person.  We don’t just comment once here, or comment just to say hello.
We comment everything we find breathtaking or awe inspiring, and we even leave comments that exceed the character limit at times.
I see the way I was when I first joined Booksie : Bitter and disappointed at the world.  Now I pick up a pen to write and all I can see are the wonderful things about the world. Every time I load up Booksie on my web browser, a fluttery feeling fills my chest as I think of all the wonderful possibilities. Everyone will have their time as a new member to our family. But we're here to make it easier to adjust to life here in our metropolis.
I’ve established a permanent home here on Booksie. Would you like to come in to chat over some tea and Oreos? I’m sure we could find something to spend our time discussing, whether it be real life circumstances or magical sprites. AsNightFalls is what you should look me up as in our directory, so get to it!
Come on over, we’re waiting with open arms.

Yeah, you are now a part of the Booksie Crew. I loved you chapter. I like that you don't mention who you are until the very end, that was a nice touch. It was almost a poetic piece, but not, you know what I mean, lol.

Yay! *munches on cookie*
...It's 1:21 at night, and I just came back from my freshman trip to Rent on Broadway. :)
Anyways. Back to the comment. It seems that a lot of the things I write seem to have a sort of poetic feel to them at times lately

Hey, im not sure if we have ever bumped into each other... [ponders]
Anyway i really like the points you made here. You described perfectly the feelings involved when you are here ie. The fluttery feeling when logging in, the feeling of improvemenet in a writer, i know for sure that my writing has improved as well, HEAPS! I look back on my first pieces that are still posted and i wonder at how i could be so naive with my words... i was pretty pathetic hahaha, but then i had never written anything i wasnt forced to do until i got here. Your right, it is an extended family. It had its family issues at a certain point but hose people seem to have disappeared, now the faithful remain :)
Great job!!

Um. I think we have..? IDK. We're sorta friends with each other because we're friends with DarkFairy...IDERNO. But anyways, yes. This was written completely randomly, and I didn't edit it so that even though it was raw, it would be the truth.

i loved your chapter! it's very good!
