A smile beamed on my face as I opened my booksie page for the very first time.

            At once, it was filled with messages from booksians saying, "Welcome to booksie! Have a great time reading, writing, and publishing!" All those comments lifted my spirit swiftly. I said to myself, "What a warm welcome." I read the messages, and told myself, "It's going to be alot of fun staying here."

            And turns out... it really is. =)

            Welcome my friend! Welcome to booksie! This site is one big family--a family of the most talented poets and writers all over the country and all over the world.  Booksie is a fun place to  get published, get known, to read writings, to comment on some and to rate them as well. The most important part of becoming a booksian is gaining new friends. My first friend here in booksie are  The Rouge Hat Company and Wikhaiiin. Days passed and I gained even more friends like Saratopia and now, I'm still gaining more and more friends. And I tell you, all of these people have now become your friends--now that your part of the family!

            I came to booksie when I had my heart broken... I needed something to release my feelings to. I needed to make a statement. I needed to write, write, write, write and write even more. Booksie became a shoulder to cry on. As I publish poetry after poetry, booksians cried with me and felt my sadness. They consoled me and everytime they comment on my works, though sad, I always smile as I type the words, "thank you." =)

            The best part about booksie is how it's very easy to be read. You may not know who it is that commented on your writing, but a simple gesture of commenting is the most joyful act a writer can receive. In booksie, you get all the possible " I like it", "I love it", or even, "That really made want to kiss you!" Hahaha! You'll be smiling and laughing with all th variety of heartfelt comments that many will be giving to you! =)

            My dear friend, you have come to the right place! Here you will be who you really are. Here, you will hone your talents and receive due recognition from all the other writers just like you! Here you will gain true friends, true companions...

            ...And everytime you open your page up, I assure you. You will have on your face that sweet, gorgeous smile.
