I didn't sleep at all that night. I had run away from the house.
Taking what little food we had. I sat in the park talking to the
earth. It hummed with sympathy. I told it all what had happened.
It told me how to handle it all.
Then I had an idea. The earth was a massive place. It knew
everyone. Maybe it could locate them too. I asked it to find me
Melisa and Mia.
It took a while. Then it hummed and blew the trees to the right.
I touched the ground thanking the earth, and followed the trees.
I ended up outside Barney's Roulette. Why would they be here?
Anyway I trusted the earth and went inside. Everybody around me
was pissed of their heads. But some of them weren't. They just
sat there. In complete silence shuddering as everyone went past.
I looked around nervously for Mia and Melisa. I looked around for
than man. God he gave me the creeps.
I couldn't see them at all. No one looked at me once. I felt
ghostlike as I hovered through the crowd of people. Then I felt a
pressure against my back. The wind pushed me towards the
staircase. Several men sat there muttering on about death. I
edged past them flying up the stairs. I heard the echo of
footsteps through the gushing of the wind. I also heard a child
singing quietly to herself. Mia!
I ran even faster bursting through the old wooden door.
"Ow," I mumbled.
"Edward! Edward is that you?! I can't see you! I can't see! Help
Melisa sat in the corner with dried blood on her face. Her back
was ripped to shreds and half of her hair was gone. I heard a
loud terrified cry from the other side of the room.
"MIA?!" I pulled Melisa up and guided her over to Mia and the
"He's been torturing us Edward. He has a whip and was hitting me
before. But he told me he was going to squeeze Mia's heart until
she dropped dead. Please do something!"
Melisa was so scared. I had never ever seen anything like it. The
man spun around. He raised his hood so I could see his mouth.
"Celisa asks you to come."
And with that he vanished leaving me with Melisa, blind, and Mia,
screaming for mercy as her hearts squeezes tighter and tighter.
